A GLOBAL ISSUE

The largest Syrian refugee camp in the world, Zaatari houses over 80,000 innocent people who have been forced to flee their homeland. More than half of these refugees are under the age of 18. Around the world, there are over 30 million child refugees.

We must not surrender to the bitter reality that we currently live in.

THREE INSPIRING TEENAGERS

Qasem, Ali, and Yousef are young refugees who, through photography, cope with the pain and personal loss of war and find moments of humanity and hope in Zaatari.

I teach them so they will have a goal to reach for, a hope for the future. Photography helps create a conscious generation that communicates with the world. Photography conveys truth.
